Devon holidays in the autumn-winter


Located on the south-west England, Devon shares a dormitory with Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset and is the fourth largest region in England. It is a popular resting place of people of all ages all year round and offers a variety of entertainment and activities. In the autumn-winter period, much remains to be done.




As the capital of Devon, Exeter Cathedral attracts thousands of visitors each year and has a great selection of shops, restaurants and places with a rich history and heritage.

Jurassic Coast spans more than thirty kilometers and consists of coarse red sandstone, towering cliffs and is also home to a number of ancient, beautiful coastal towns like Exmouth, Sidmouth and Beer.




Head to the north coast of Exmoor National Park experience, which combines dramatic coastline with beautiful countryside. Other areas of interest include the famous Croyde Bay Beach Surf and beautiful coastal towns of Lynton and Lynmouth.

South Devon Walking Festival September-October


Enjoy up to 33 hiking trails through the magnificent beaches, hills and valleys of soaking. You do not need to be a pro climber - a walk for all abilities and for those who want to enjoy the beautiful countryside of Devon.




Exmoor Food Festival - October


Exmoor Food Festival will be presented delicious local from all regions of North Devon. Up to 50 food events, a place which will include food exhibitions, marketing and training of peasant cuisine.




Lynton and Lynmouth Comedy Festival - October


Comedy Festival will consist of a number of acts and artists throughout the weekend. Full list of events can be found on websites or on their pages Facebook.




Dartmouth Food Festival - October


Dartmouth Food Festival always come back to show all the best results in and around Dartmouth and South Ham. Top local chefs will also be demonstrated at the event - they usually include Mitch Tonks of the Seahorse and Serin Aubrey from Anzac Street Bistro. guest chefs such as Jane Baxter, Riverford of Kitchen and Tim Bouget from Lodz, Shaldon often causes. Simultaneously there is also the chef the food and beverage trial participants, including Devonshire Tea Limited and cookies with love - and hand decorated cakes for all occasions.




Christmas Shopping Fayre - November


Devon HolidaysIt is the largest trade event of the gala in the southwest. Review of 300 exhibitors from retailers, craftsmen and suppliers of food and beverages. Suitable for those unique Christmas gifts. The event was held at Exeter Westpoint Arena - Santa's grotto and there for fun for the whole family.




Although the night started to draw and the slightly cooler air, Devon is still fun for a few months in the autumn and winter.
